ASHTAR SHAMOUN

Ashtar began dancing early on as a child, just within the four walls of her bedroom. During this time, Ashtar focused on polishing her natural dance skill and choreography, all the while showcasing her talent at small variety shows at her Middle School, and High School. Having never taken dance training or classes, she created an edge for herself, expanding the capacity of her creativity, her ability to choreograph original dance routines, and overall, further developing her skill as a choreographer, and preparing her for her career in the entertainment industry. As a junior in High School, Ashtar ventured into Chicago's entertainment industry head first, with purpose of establishing her name in the field as a passionate, hard-working, energetic, and creative choreographer and dancer. Since then, Ashtar has taken first place in several dance competitions, opened up for Fat Joe at Chicago's own Congress Theatre, appeared on the hit television show "America's Got Talent", choreographed for numerous artists and music videos in the Chicagoland area, and performed at countless events throughout Chicago. She is also the lead choreographer for several entertainment companies and Record labels including L' Shanell Fashion Event , DJ International Records, Virtual X Inc./Universal Music Group, and Celebrity Virtual. In April of 2009, after seeing Ashtar perform at a Fashion Event in Chicago, Dane Campbell approached her, introducing himself, and offered her a position with the legendary Full Effect. Ashtar was proud and excited to join the company which she'd heard so much about. Ashtar also sings and songwrites; she is in pursuit of a successful career as a solo singer/songwriter/dancer and often declares, "Ashtar is born".
