KATHERINE MOFFIT

Katie has been immersed in all types of dance for as long as she can remember and has only focused on hip hop for the last few years. In 2008, she was chosen as one of the select few to be titled as International UDA All Stars and traveled with dancers from all over the country to perform in the International New Years Day Festival and Parade in Paris, France. She also helped to create her high school hip hop team and was elected captain. She has performed and choreographed for numerous groups including Dance Theatre New Trier, Northfield Dance Ensemble, NT Dance Team, and was a guest performer for Thread Meddle Outfit, a Chicago based professional modern dance company. She was referred to the company by a mutual friend and after seeing them perform "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" at the third annual Reach for the Stars Talent Competiton, she was determined to join the company. Her determination gave her a spot in the company's Episodes of Rhythm concert in the summer of 2009.
