MICHAEL GREY

"Mikey" had been a long time fan of Full Effect for as long as he could remember. He has been performing since the mid-nineties with various groups. Michael received his dance training at Columbia University. It was there that he started his own group, Versatile. he joined Full Effect in 2006, accepting a formal invitation from Dane A Campbell. The two had worked together in 2004, filming a music video for Chicago Idol's White Boy. Michael has been featured in Missy Elliot's "Ching-a-Ling/Shake it Like A Pom Pom" music video dancing alongside Blair. In 2008 he was one of the "magic seven" that made it on the second season of MTV's Randy Jackson's America's Best Dance Crew and immediately after toured Europe with the company. Mikey has won three FEETDCo Performer Awards including Best Newcomer (2007), Street Edge (2007), and Top Male Dancer-FE (2008). In 2009, he and FEDT member Jayce Burns set fire to the stage with Versatile and became the 106 and Park Wild Out Wednesdays champs winning the $5,000 grand prize.
